Solar is available for BlueBox Lite systems when site power is not available.

If your location has plug-in power, solar is not required.

When power is unavailable, Lite runs on battery. Adding solar reduces how often the system needs to be recharged and allows longer unattended operation.

All Lite systems can still be recharged in place if needed.

When to Add Solar

• The site is difficult to access regularly

Solar does not change camera performance.
It simply extends runtime and reduces maintenance.

Snap Lite

Snap Lite runs efficiently on battery alone and delivers impressive multi-day runtime.

When solar is added, Snap Lite becomes a strong entry-level set-and-forget solution, especially for:

• Rural gates

• Farms and ranches

• Vacant land

Under normal daylight conditions, solar allows Snap Lite to operate with minimal intervention.

Floodlight Lite & 24/7 Lite

These cameras draw more power due to continuous recording and active deterrence features.

Solar extends runtime for temporary sites without power and reduces the frequency of charging or battery swaps.

For permanent off-grid use with high-draw cameras, custom power design may be recommended.

Charging Flexibility

Even with solar installed, BlueBox Lite systems can be:

• Plugged into temporary power

• Charged using a generator

• Topped off in place without removal

Solar reduces visits. It does not remove flexibility.

Battery Monitoring Included

All Lite systems include remote battery monitoring.

• View battery level from your phone

• Receive low-battery alerts

• Plan maintenance before downtime

This visibility makes off-grid deployments manageable and predictable.
